Sir Emeka Offor Awards Scholarship To Over 42 Students

Sir Emeka Offor, the man dubbed "Nigeria's most charitable", recently awarded scholarships to about 42 indigent students nationwide via his foundation, on the 25th of may, 2013.

The scholarship, worth a hundred and fifteen thousand naira for the undergraduate category, about one hundred and thirty thousand for the postgraduate category, and an undisclosed amount for the secondary school category, saw not less than 34 undergraduates, out of 76 applicants, smiling home with the big package after a thorough screening exercise. 6 postgraduates also emerged beneficiaries after about 8 were screened, plus 2 secondary school students, reportedly picked from the gutters by Sir Emeka Offor Scholarship team, bringing the sum to 42 beneficiaries.
